The CPCA serves as the facilitator for the development and ordination of CPCA clergy. Classes are available at the denominational center through its partnerships with area educational centers to provide a strong foundation in general communication and oratory skills, biblical principals and church management. The CPCA partners with the following educational organizations for the further advancement of its leaders.

Path to Ordination
We believe in having well educated and trained clergy. Prior to investing the time, energy, and resources necessary to become ordained as a CPCA minister, it is essential that a candidate understands the unique calling and character of CPCA Churches, including our theology, history and culture. Training will also include basic skills in communication and homiletics, service and congregational care, as well as general administrative applications for ministry and church management.
In depth study of the teachings of Christ, The Pauline Letters and the Prophets of the Old Testament.
Introduction to practical theology and the foundations of homiletics and communications.
History of the CPCA church theology and its application to church administration and congegational care.
